A Bit About Me

A Texas-born art enthusiast with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design and Art Administration. I am a passionate, visual storyteller and aspiring art director/ graphic design professional that excels in high-tempo, high-pressure environments. Whether it’s photography, drawing, cinematography, or theater, art has always been a muse in my life. No matter what I am asked to achieve, I use all I have learned and what drives me most to complete the task beyond what is expected.

Alamance Arts - Communications, Event Planning, and Design Intern

Alamance Arts is a non-profit organization within the local triad area providing arts education and experiences through their in-house gallery and collaborative arts events/ classes. I collaborated with the outreach coordinator and executive director to put together advertising collaborations for the upcoming fall and spring seasons, social media and communication materials, as well as aid in updating and maintaining their website. I was also a representative at multiple events across the county to bring in potential new donations, volunteers, and visitors to future events and exhibitions.

Red Production - Commercial Production and Design Intern

This internship allowed me experiences in the film-media production world with introductions to editing, pre and post-production, and on-set work. At Red Production, I  honed not only my business management skills, but my design skills through redesigning projects and creating pieces for their advertisements and videos using Adobe Illustrator, Premier, and Photoshop.

Live Oak Communications - Creative Content Producer

Elon University has an in-house advertising firm that works with real clients in the local community including Burlington, Raleigh-Durham, and Greensboro, NC. As a part of the creative team, I aided in specific creative projects for these clients such as logo redesigns, promotional posters, social media pieces, merchandise design, etc.

Amplify Black Voices Festival - Administration and Communication Content Manager

For my senior seminar course for Art Administration, I was tasked with the administrative job of putting on the first-ever Amplify Black Voices Theater Festival. This was a collaboration between the major colleges in the greater Greensboro area where four plays were performed in a matter of a month centered around the idea of supporting black representation in theater. I designed and put together the website, communicated with interns working on the event at other colleges, and aided in promotional material for each event.
