Rockbridge Baths Volunteer Fire Department T-Shirt Designs
A marketing coordinator at a local Virginia Volunteer Fire Department reach out to me asking for three custom illustrations for two t-shirt designs to sell at fundraisers for the coming year. They wanted two illustrations of local landmarks (the bridge and the post office) for one shirt and a continuous line drawing of firemen in action with the star of life for the other. Both were sold al local charity events and helped raise over $2,000.
Iteration
Design 1
Photographs of the local landmarks were provided by the client and the line drawings were made based off of them. The bridge was used on the pocket if the shirt and the post office on the back along with the departments name and campaign year. The design went through two iterations before landing on the final design.
Design 2
The second design was more open ended. The client's only requirements were that there were wanted the style to be a continues line and to have two or more fire fighter in action with the Star if life. The also wanted to keep the color pallet as simple as possible. I pulled a few references images they liked and created a drawing they loved. The design was put on the back of the shirt for their spring fundraiser.
